tea house in Nagoya Forest

This tea house is a few hundred years old. The tea was very good. We were surrounded by old huge Bamboo groves.

We drummed in the Mishima house. It was an honor.

This was taken at the Nagoya national forest. I didn’t even care that I had broken a bone in my foot. It was so beautiful.

This is the surprise breakfast that was actually pretty good. Also healthy. Samurai breakfast.

PRETTY AMAZING. I am in Nagoya, Japan teaching drumming meditation. My star student is Shisato Mishima. She was Miss Japan Fitness and is a great drummer. She will be doing the Helmtone drumming meditation workshops in Japan. Unfortunately, I broke a bone in my foot just before I let from LA last week, thinking it was only a sprained ankle, I flew and it was uncomfortable but when I got here my host, Dr. Steven Bellamy examined me and pronounced that I was with a broken foot bone. So the schedule of personal appearances has been changed. People are coming here to their 400 hundred year old hi tech house and drumming with me.

Side story about Shisato and her songs for this routine: “Start me up” is of course the Rolling Stones. Steven her husband called Mick Jagger.They are old friends. And got to use it for free. This is just after Microsoft paid 25 million US to use it for the debut of thier thier new operating system. Rock on.

Drumming in Nagoya, Japan!

I am having an incredibly wonderful time in Nagoya, Japan. We have been drumming and streaming live on Justin.tv/buddyhelm drumming, also on skype, and we also were picked up by Japanese National TV. I have drummed with the sweetest people. Dr. STeven BEllamy and his wife Chisato are consumate hosts and have arranged an astounding array of places for me to drum with people here. We are focusing on the healing and the mediation drumming. I brought two of my special Djembes from Ghana and we are accumulating drums here. This will be a recuring tour every few months and I love it.

We are sharing the groove in a very healing, spiritual way and are not hindered by language or culture. The groove carries our love around the whole universe!

I am so lucky.

This is on You Tube. Some folks were curious. Did this for a whole year every full moon! We found the grooves that the dolphins like to dance to! Magic of the first order.

I had a wonderful Sunday on the Gulf in St. Pete marrying Ralph and Linda, a sweet couple. They wrote their own ceremony ( I added a few things as the minister) then we drummed and the dolphins CAME around the boat! They stayed for a long time, I even heard them singing as we gently drummed. This was a major event for all of us. Thank-you for asking me to be the drumming minister at your wedding Ralph and Linda!

We had a great time drumming on Capt. Dan’s 51 foot sailboat. We saw some big manta rays, and the full moon was awesome!
