Letterman and the drum

When Kanye West invited me to play drumming meditation for his Sunday Morning Service in Burbank, I talked about how the downbeat is like the heart beat. After the service David Letterman came up to me, “Hi! I’m Dave!” And he told me about how he was interested in the heart in relation to the drum. We had an intense chat while everyone else stood by and watched. He understood what it was about. Cool Guy.
