This function of our intellect is a well intentioned part of our survival mechanisms; reminding us of painful things that we don’t want to do again, but it is over stimulated and creates negativity, and critical thinking that paralyses us. Rhythm is a way to subdue this anxiety and focus on the good things; being happy. The critical mind is influenced by tempo more than we realize in our busy distracted everyday consciousness, By findng the right laid back grooves, the racehorse mentality feels safe enough to relax.
